We are looking for a dedicated tutor to join our programme to teach within a successful, caring and innovative maths team. Working with learners, who may have been out of an educational setting for some time, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in empowering them with essential numeracy and maths skills from entry levels to GCSE to foster the confidence our learners need to take their next steps into work or further learning.

Working with learners, who may have been out of an educational setting for some time, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in empowering them with essential numeracy and maths skills from entry levels to GCSE to foster the confidence our learners need to take their next steps into work or further learning.
We are looking for a tutor to teach our ESOL for Beginners course within our Supported Learning provision from Sept 2024.
The course has been developed for learners with very low English reading and writing skills and is delivered in a small class size of up to eight learners. Support is provided for this class by experienced ALS staff, and you will be supported to develop your skills working with learners with learning needs as required. Experience of teaching learners with either mild to moderate learning difficulties or low levels of language and literacy skills is desirable.

We are looking for a tutor to teach our English – Improvers – Entry 3 course within our Supported Learning provision from Sept 2024.
This course has been developed to improve the confidence in learners who have basic reading and writing skills who are taught in a small class size of up to eight learners. Support is provided for this class by experienced ALS staff to ensure teaching is learner centred and tailored to meet learners’ specific needs.
Experience of teaching learners with either mild to moderate learning difficulties and or low levels of language and literacy skills would be desirable. You will be supported to develop your own skills working with learners with learning needs as required.
