WM College has a highly successful college which is passionate about supporting adults in Camden to gain essential skills and qualifications for work.  

We are looking for an experienced SIA Security Trainer to deliver high-SIA licence linked training courses, enabling individuals to gain the Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry and Pearson BTEC Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry. 

This role is advertised on a fixed-term basis running until July 2026.

In this role you will be required to: 

• Conduct training courses, including both theoretical and practical components, ensuring training materials, lesson plans, and resources are current and meet regulatory standards. 

• Assess learners on these qualifications, providing constructive feedback to learners to support their development and ensuring they meet the required competencies. 

• Ensure all training activities comply with SIA standards and other relevant regulatory requirements. 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of attendance, assessments, and certifications. 

The successful applicant will hold a valid SIA Trainer Licence, a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or higher) and be able to demonstrate: 

• a full understanding of security concepts and legal compliance 

• confidence in delivering training sessions 

• excellent communication skills to engage and inspire trainees 

• strong assessment abilities to evaluate trainee progress effectively 

• a commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry regulations 

• a proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability in training delivery. 
    
  We anticipate that these courses will run 3 times year and each course will typically run for 62 hours across 12 days
